I know I haven't posted much in a very long time, but I have been working on my Abstract Organoc series.  My goal at the beginning of the yea was to get 50 pieces done by April 30th.  Well, I got to 32.  But I have still kept at it and am pushing my way to 50.  At the point where I was getting tired of drawing, the work began to evolve.  I guess that's how that happens though.  You do something enough times, you're bound to find a new way of getting it done.  The decision is whether or not to embrace that change.  I have and I like where it's taking me;  it feels like a second wind. Lately, I have been so inspired to make art. I don't know if I'm finally through my post-college rut, or if I realized that I will never be satisfied with my night job [or any non-art job], or if it's my little spurts of depression when I go a while without creating. I got a new set of pens, new found courage, and I'm brimming with ideas, spawning from my latest abstract drawings to do ratating pieces and sculpture...basically a whole exhibit/installation round this one idea. I hope it lasts and I actually get all this stuff completed.  Now to begin my search for wood and band saw blades! oh, yeah...WHO DAT! ~Britt
